The last day of March brought in nearly 100 participants to our second annual Southern New England Regional Gathering, SNERG! Whether it was to listen to a dynamic speaker track, play tons of fun board games old and new, or just socialize with likeminded folks, the weekend was a blur of fun and entertainment.
No matter how you participated, you helped to make it special and we couldn’t have done it without you! If you weren’t able to join us, know that we are hard at
work to bring SNERG back for 2024. It may be a little different, but we hope to provide the same quality experience you have grown to know and love.
Instructions for members.
CWM Mensa received a Sapphire Class II award for 2017-2018, in recognition of our outstanding performance as a local chapter, our commitment to serving our members and striving to provide a stimulating intellectual environment for their members.
The Local Group Jewels recognize and reward Local Groups’ membership-related activities and for their active participation in all that Mensa has to offer to positively impact the experience of the local group members. Accordingly, the program awards points for participation in Mensa rather than winning other Mensa awards.
Points are earned for a variety of activities and accomplishments, earned by the group as a whole, including participation in Mind Games®, CultureQuest®, Mensa Testing Day and Leadership Development Workshops.
Thanks to all in the chapter who continue to support these initiatives!
We’re pleased to report that at last year’s Annual Gathering in San Diego, California, CWM Mensa was honored to receive a Ruby Award! This award recognizes our local groups’ membership-related activities and its active participation in all that Mensa has to offer. If you’re not a member, we hope you’ll learn more and consider joining us!
